We use about 5 inches on each side of our sticks.\u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eApply heavy-duty adhesive spray to the stick.\u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eSlide the heat-shrink tubing over the stick.\u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eUse a heat gun to shrink the tubing into place.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eReplacing worn double-grip strike zone\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe strike zone of double-grip drumsticks wears down over time. To replace, cut off any uneven parts of the old grip, apply epoxy to the stick, and slide the new heat-shrink tubing over the old grip.
