Important use note
Always hold the colored or patterned ends in your hands. Never strike the colored or patterned ends together. The black ends are the strike zone and are made to take the impact.
How double grip extends stick life
The black double grip is not made to last forever. It is designed to extend the life of your natural wood product by taking the impact instead of the wood. It is normal for the strike-zone grip to look beat up after several classes.
When the strike-zone grip wears down
You can keep using the sticks as normal, carefully remove worn grip with scissors, or replace the heat-shrink with our replacement grip. To replace, cut tubing to length, apply with epoxy or heavy-duty adhesive, and use a heat gun to set it. See our Stick Care page for full instructions.
