SUPERSTIX are the latest innovation from cardiostix, having a girthy .80 diameter (our premium weighted drumsticks are a .74 diameter) so you will definately feel the workout with these heavy hitters!

Always hold colored ends in your hands.  The all black ends are meant to protect your strike zone (where you hit them together).  

All double grip drumsticks have the extra heat shrink to protect the strike zone, this black heat shrink product will not last forever and will show wear and expand as you beat them together. Either continue usage as normal or remove with scissors or replace heat shrink tubing we sell right here on the website:)

The extra black grip is simply to avoid beating wood on wood and is about a $1-2 upgrade from sticks that do not have double grip. If this look is not for you, I recommend not purchasing my double grip products but rather my "extra grip" premium sticks that do not have this feature.
