Superstix are our heaviest cardio drumming sticks, made from all-American hickory with a larger .80 inch diameter and a protected black strike zone. Choose them if you already love our premium weighted line and want more weight in your hands, or if you teach a class and want sticks that clearly telegraph effort.

Important use note

Always hold the colored or patterned ends in your hands. Do not beat the colored or patterned handle ends together. The black ends are the strike zone and are made to take the impact.

Care and grip wear

The black heat-shrink grip helps protect the wood-on-wood strike zone. Like any grip layer that takes repeated impact, it will show wear and may expand over time. You can keep using the sticks as normal, carefully remove worn grip with scissors, or replace it with our heat-shrink tubing. See our Stick Care page for replacement instructions.

How long will these last?

Hickory is a natural material, and cardio drumming sticks are wear items. Lifespan depends on class frequency, surface, striking style, and how the sticks are stored.

Our double-grip versions extend stick life by protecting the strike zone. The black wrap takes the impact instead of the wood.
